Hello Guys! Today I’ll show you a chess trick which will help you capture opponent piece in the opening moves itself! And you will get ahead in the game from early! But you’ll be able to play it only, if you know it’s both Variations! That’s why watch this video till very end So let’s get started! This Chess trick is known as Mortimer Trap! And you’ll play this with black pieces You’ll play this when your opponent starts the game with pawn to E4 Then you’ll play E5 and when he attacks your pawn with his Knight You will defend it with your Knight After which White’s most common response is to play Bishop to B5 This is very popular opening moves and this opening is also called Ruy lopez opening In response to which you will move out your second Knight, This response by black is called Berlin Defense As our Knight is attacking White’s Pawn White most common response here is to play D3 and defend his pawn In next move you will set your tarp by playing knight to E7 square After moving our Knight we are inviting white to capture our pawn Here 90% of players get greedy they see a free pawn and they capture it and with this move White has Fallen for our trap! Let’s see how… In next move you’ll play Pawn to C6 and attack his Bishop To save Bishop white has got 2 options He can either move it to A4 or he can move it to C4 If he moves it to A4 Then you’ll give check with your Queen! With that also forking both of his pieces! and you can easily win of them If we go back again, and let’s suppose he move Bishop to C4 Then in that case as well You’ll give him check with your Queen forking his King and his Knight! and when he blocks the check, you’ll simply capture his Knight! In this position you are already piece up! Because we have an extra Knight! which is big advantage for us! and this is a winning position for Black! If we go back gain and let’s suppose White don’t save his Bishop! Instead he try to trap you by playing his knight to C4 In this position you have to play very carefully! As you can’t capture his Bishop now if you do so you will get checkmated! That’s why in that position, you shouldn’t capture his Bishop because Bishop is going nowhere you can capture it later! In this position you have to move pawn to D6 White Bishop is still under attack And it only has one square to go to, that is A4! After which you can simply play, your pawn to B5, forking his Knight and Bishop! No matter what white plays next, He will lose one of the pieces! After which you be a piece up! and will win this game with ease! So these were Mortimer Trap’s both variations If you enjoyed this chess trick, then give video a thumbs up! and for more such chess tricks, Subscribe the channel! See you in the next video!
