“And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and hell followed with him”

I know this city, it's the city of Wells, I used to go there and see the cathedral.

Someone send them to get training. Just throwing bullets about and they are expensive.

It took me years to figure out why he was on a horse – he'd crashed his car just before this, so he grabbed a horse from the farm he crashed next to ('cause he still needed to actually get into town).

This town must be ready for this 24/7, I mean they probably train regularly for this!

Such wasted use of that FAL… He fires it once to pop that tire then dumps it for the shotgun…

Very interesting film from a philosophical point-of-view. We are presented with villagers who have resorted to a Draconian form of punishment to keep order in their village, in stark contrast to the "liberal left" policy of light touch policing and short sentences that let it slide. Nick "Angel" eventually resolves the problems presented by the villagers by resorting to a middle-ground Christian "eye for an eye" approach.

So what happened to the shop keeper when the school children entered, I never go that? Is it a trap door that activates for her to descend for a customer?

The only thing in this ENTIRE movie that bugged me was angel taking one shot and then switching guns

i understand that people often dismiss quick cuts in action scenes for being too confusing but sometimes it does work if geography is established and if it had wides. this one did just that.

The expression on Timothy Dalton's face is amazing. Just the slightest smirk, because he actually wanted this fight on some level (imo)

And barring a few catastrophic injuries he managed to round em all up without a single fatality. Well, except the guy that got blowed up by a mine but that was his own fault.

I love how that lady was unicycling her way down the road as she shoots two guns at a rogue police officer, and gets defeated by trampling over a car door.

If anyone interested, this scene was filmed in the city of Wells, Somerset. Nearby wells is where I'm from in Sandford, so it is obvious why they chose the name.

When ever I see the bit with the kids running into the shop I imagine the lady just gunning them down

Just a shame Simon Pegg sold out and went out Hollywood instead of making amazing films like this
