This song cured my depression about MLP. Ponies are still alive, and FiM is the most wonderful show for me. This clip could've make me cry if I would cry when happy. (Srry for bad language)

This was great but I kind of have to say I like the American version better as a preface to the show. I'm just saying that when I hear this I think less charming slice of life comedy and more epic action filled magical girl show and coming down from the intro pumping you up to the Nth degree for each episode Doesn't sound like something I'd want to do whenever I watch it.

Combining the choreography from Winter Wrap Up, the visuals from Suited For Success and The Best Night Ever, and some epic scene transitions that showcase more than just the main cast make this a Tartarus lot better than the English one.

This one makes it seem like a "magical girl anime" the thing you expect when you first watch the show.  It hints at what's coming and the lyrics actually stand out.

This song is awesome, don't get me wrong….

But it sounds even better at 1:25 speed. 😀 At least, it does in my opinion.

    In a splendid world,
    colorful and magical
    Little Ponies live
in peace and always in harmony!

    They make the sun shine,
    they make plants grow
    and they spread joy
    when you meet them

Go and fly, My Little Pony!
If you want to meet new friends,
take flight and listen to your heart,
and you can face any adventure!
Go and fly, My Little Pony!
Make your dreams come true and don't stop!

    Don't stop!
    Don't stop!
    Don't stop!

    Shy and lovely,
    grumpy and romantic
are the traits of the friends
    you're going to meet.

And day by day you will grow up,
    many problems you will solve.
With the other ponies, you know
    you will have fun!

Go and fly, My Little Pony!
If you want to meet new friends,
take flight and listen to your heart,
and you can face any adventure!
Go and fly, My Little Pony!
Make your dreams come true and don't stop!

    Don't stop!
    Don't stop!
    Don't stop!

Go and fly, My Little Pony!
If you want to meet new friends,
take flight and listen to your heart,
and you can face any adventure!
Go and fly, My Little Pony!
Make your dreams come true and don't stop!

    Don't stop!
    Don't stop!
    Don't stop!

This is the kind of opening theme MLP;FiM needs and deserves!
The music and lyrics were superb, and the montage (with clips from the actual show) was wonderful. ^.^
Though for timing's sake, maybe just using just the first minute of the song/opening, then play the whole thing at the end credits. But still, Italy, you got it made.

    ITA > ENG > JAP
Sorry for all the fans of "HI HI HI". I just think the Japanese intro doesn't match the tone of the show. It's very fast and energetic and doesn't reflect the show's usually calm pace.

If you like this video, you will love one by someone I subscribe to, @Lioco94 – they made an anime OP of MLP-FiM using the music track from this version of MLP-AèM; all the ponies in human form, and very well created!  I think they're gonna have a few more subs after this… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JSLZiQd3irI

It's so cool seeing how different languages handle the theme song. So try their best to recreate the song we got, but then you've got countries like Italy and Japan that just do what they want and create their own themes. It's just cool to see.

This sounds like an opening for a magical girl anime, which isn't a bad thing by any means. In order from best to worst, I'd say Italian, then Japanese, and lastly English. Despite being the original version, it's just so plain and generic in comparison.

Wonder if they have to cut off parts of episodes because of the long intro. I know in the Japanese version, they have to cut off parts of episodes because of the bonus thing they added to every episode.

This is the opening theme the original English version deserves. Why does the Italian version have a better one?

This just earned a 'Attack on Titan Worthy' badge for fitting the Attack on Titan theme so freaking well. Congratulations.

Thanks EQD. This does sound better. It has a nicer background beat that the english one doesn't have. But I feel that the lyrics don't really make as much sense, if auto-translate is to be trusted.

How did they manage to fit in a 3+ minute intro in the Italian version of the show? The American one is less than a minute long.

What is up with Italians and their good theme songs? Not only does G4 have a better theme song in the Italian version; G1 My Little Pony does as well.

this is strange. We italian bronies think this sucks, but you think it's awesome. Well, italians tend to critic themselves.

Wow…I don't know what to say! So much more expository than our English one; it has clips of the actual episodes and depicts what goes on in the show, the different characters and their shenanigans, and the events (though not in sequential order) that led them to where they are. It's very fitting for an intro, and even though it may just look like a somewhat-sped up montage of clips, it works very well, and I'm glad the Italian dubbers had the guts to get creative and break away from the original. Some people complain about dub changes, but this change is, in my opinion, for the better. It sure beats our lackluster by comparison intro (it's alright, but nothing special.) And the song, oh, the song! It's powerful, and as others have stated, almost anime-like! They clearly put a lot more effort into the song, and while I doubt the intro is always this long on Italian TV (3 minutes and 30 seconds is a bit much), it's still probably gold even at 30 seconds. It doesn't sound as girly, either. (I know, the show has a target audience to meet.) Again, I don't hate the English intro (we're lucky that we have a theme song period in this day and age of cartoons), I just far prefer this one and I think it's more like what we should have gotten in the first place.

I could understand some of the lyrics. Others I had to look up. The song does a pretty good job of summing up the premise of the show and it's catchy. Everything a theme song should do.

Man, have they really got intro this awesome? And this long? My time watching the episodes would have felt way better and been well remembered, if I had watched them with this intro, back in the days of getting into!..

I wonder how they've synced this opening song to later seasons…? I mean, think about it, the American original had done this, so what have other countries done?
