No; these videos are for owners to see what their horse has achieved during its time with us, not to act as "how to" videos. We believe every horse is an individual; as such the best way to train one may be unsuitable for another. What we are showing here is the results of teaching this horse to tie up, to show what it is possible to achieve with the correct training. We show that we have taught her to tie up happily as she will now stand still to be harnessed up and put to without pulling back.

I could really use some guidance on teaching a horse to tie. My mare pulls back and it is majorly dangerous and annoying.

What is always nice to see is how relaxed the horses in your videos are. It is especially noticable in this one. If this horse was any more relaxed when it is tied up it would fall over. It would have been nice to see her when she came to you but the result is a pleasure to watch.

watching your vids over the years, and it struck me just how much busier stockbridge is now, and how far your establisment has developed! As always though, there are happy, well adjusted, safe horses coming through your training.
