    Appreciate your fact-checking; we didn't mention it in the video, but we knew about that as well. It's interesting to compare the evolution of certain drinks over time and distance.

    I think it's best made with a real ginger ale or ginger beer like Reed's or home-made or even Gosling's from the can. Otherwise, this was cool!

    Ginger ale and ginger beer are two different thing, I prefer heavy ginger, so I prefer ginger beer. A lot of people don't like the potency of Reed's, hence why ginger ale is called for in many recipes.
