USS Warrior (MCM 10) Returns

USS Warrior a mine-counter measure ship, pulled
into port here in Sasebo after completing exercise Foal Eagle. “Foal Eagle is a bilateral exercise that’s
held annually with the Republic of Korea Naval Forces and the U.S. Forces. My crew performed admirably in our tasking
of mine-hunting, mine-neutralization, mine-sweeping in conjunction with the Republic of Korea.” This was the first time in over two years
that the Warrior’s crew had deployed a mine sweep but they still accomplished the mission
without any hiccups. “I think the cooperation between the teams
especially each department was the best out of what I’ve seen so far. each one was able to pull their own task and
accomplish their own mission area in order to get the whole exercise done.” Pulling into port may mark the end of exercise
Foal Eagle but more good things are sure to come from the crew of USS Warrior in the future. Seaman Kyle Palasti, Commander Fleet Activities,
Japan.
