Hi guys, Naomi here. The races are coming
up, and whether you’re heading to Aintree or Ascot, you may be wondering what to wear.
I’ve picked out a selection of dresses that you can wear both with and without a fascinator,
that are going to be suitable and perfect for the event. My first choice is this cobalt blue dress.
Some races have stricter dress codes and you can’t get your shoulders out, so this one
is perfect for that. It covers you up at the top. It’s a really flattering style. It’s
super comfortable as well – this is stretchy material so you can wear it all day and be
comfy. It has a wrap style skirt and a waist tie. I love the bold colour. I’ve just accessorised
with some nude shoes and a rose gold bag. My next choice is perfect for ladies day.
If you have ladies day coming up then this dress is right up your street. It’s really
cute and a nice bright colour as well. It has crochet detail with a slip underlay. You
have your legs and shoulders out with this one, perfect for ladies day. I added some
wedges as well because you’re going to be on your feet all day long and these are super
comfortable, yet still nice and high. These will still elongate your legs. I’ve gone
for a basket bag because I love this one. I’ve tied in the white of the bag with the
shoes. I’ve accessorised with some cute clips in my hair. I love the feature on the
back of this dress which is a nice cut out. It’s a nice little addition. I am ready
for ladies day. My next look is this floral maxi. This is
more of a conservative look but it’s still feminine and cute. I love the colours on this
and the print. A wrap dress is flattering because you can cinch it in at the waist so
that it shows off your figure. I’ve added a wooden bag and wedges – they are your best
friend at the races because you’re on your feet all day long. I’ve gone for some tan
ones this time. I’ve put my hair up to show off the dress and I’ve added some cute earrings
to finish off the look. Next up, I’ve gone for this navy dress.
Navy is a really great colour if you are looking for dresses for the races and this one is
really cute. Again, it is more conservative, you are covered up. But it does have a sexy
feel because of the lace here. This dress is so beautiful. We have lace detail on the
top, a bodycon midi style skirt and it’s super comfortable as well. It’s super stretchy.
With this, I’ve gone for a classic fascinator to finish up the look and added a rose gold
bag and shoes. Here, I’ve gone for a leopard print maxi
dress. I love this one. It is a wrap style and they are really flattering. This kind
of dress is great if the day looks a little bit colder. If you don’t want to wear a
jacket this is perfect. It’s shorter at the front and longer at the back. The material
is really soft and it’s comfortable as well – perfect to wear all day long. Here, I have
gone for nude tone accessories. I have nude shoes, a bag and gold earrings to finish the
look. This one is one of my favourite race day dresses.
I love this cute pink number. It’s really flattering and super comfortable as well.
It has wire here on the bust so it’s really supportive. It has a cute kick out here on
the knees. I have added a beaded bag and tan shoes. These heels are great for the races
because they have more of a block heel – you’re not going to fall into the grass at all and
they’re super comfortable. I’ve gone for earrings in the same tone as the dress to
finish the look. And finally, I’ve gone for this beautiful
white bodycon dress. This is a classic style for the races. It has a double strap feature
which is a really flattering style. Even though it’s a bodycon style, the material is really
stretchy so you’re going to be comfortable in this all day long. It has a great zip feature
at the back which goes from the top to the bottom. Here, I’ve gone for those famous
wedges because I can keep going all day long in these. I’ve added a cute hair clip to
this one, but you could interchange it with a fascinator if you wanted to. A gold bag
finishes the look. I hope that gave you some inspiration on what
to wear to your next day out at the races. Comment below with your favourite look and
