Zebra Technologies: Micro Label Printing – Small Things Are No Longer a Big Problem

As technology advances, the components in many electronics and medical devices are getting smaller and smaller. Bar coding is proven to be the best way
to maximize efficiency and accuracy, but when you need to code a part, component, or sub-assembly as small as a quarter of an inch in size, do you just give up? Not when you have to comply with stringent manufacturing and assembly requirements. More unique labeling needs exist today than ever before, and theft and counterfeiting, particularly with electronics, poses a major threat if your parts, components, assemblies, and finished products aren’t labeled to allow for ease of tracking, control, and authentication. Zebra has the solution. Our micro-label printing technology delivers very small, high resolution, on-demand labels with pinpoint registration. Even for less than 10 point font and
intricate Chinese symbols, and we have the labels to meet your unique manufacturing needs. Withstanding heat as high as 250 degrees Celsius, staying readable even when exposed to chemicals, and high-tech adhesive that keeps them securely in place, even on rough surfaces. With high-quality reliable micro-labels, you gain deeper visibility into your supply chain. By labeling each part, components of
assembly, and finished product, so you can identify and track every item throughout the manufacturing process. Reducing barcodes that are readable at less than a quarter inch in size, and consistency in the quality of the barcode printing, from the first label to the thousandth. Talk to us today because we don’t want small things to cause big problems for you.

not even zebra knows hot to read a 2d Barcode. Zebra printheads do not last more than 6 months using kapton labels. Is more suitable to use a TSC Tx600 or a Mx640, can last more than a 2 years at least for special materials.
