Zebra ZT400 Series: How-to Adjust Printhead Pressure

You may need to adjust printhead
pressure if printing is to light. If the print on the left side of the
label is too light, increase the inside dial setting. Pause the printer. Open the printhea d and move the ribbon to the side. Close the printhead. The printhead pressure adjustment dials have setting marks from one to four. Increase the inside dial setting one position. Readjust the ribbon. Press pause to test the print quality. Always use the lowest printhead pressure necessary to produce good print quality. Pause the printer. If the print on the right side of the
label is too light, increased outside dial setting. Pause the printer Open the printhead and move the ribbon to the side. Close the printhead. Increase the outside dial setting one
position. Readjust the ribbon. Press pause to test the print quality. Always use the lowest printhead pressure
necessary to produce good print quality. If the print on the whole label is too light, increase both dials one position.

    What about if all media is loaded correctly but the media is sliding to the right? Should the left dial be increased to hold it in place?
